Norris & Tunstall Consulting Engineers, P.C. is a civil engineering and design firm with offices in Wilmington and Brunswick County, N.C.  The firm evolved from Andrew & Kuske Consulting Engineers, Inc., which was chartered in Wilmington in 1983.  The firm’s principals, Phil Norris and John Tunstall, have over 54 years of combined civil engineering experience in southeastern North Carolina.

Norris & Tunstall has a track record of accomplishment in the design and permitting of public infrastructure, including streets, water systems, sanitary sewer systems, waste water treatment systems, storm drainage systems and storm treatment facilities.  Additionally, the firm provides site design for government, educational facilities, commercial developments, shopping centers, hotels, mixed use developments, master planning and design and subdivision master planning and design.

The Norris & Tunstall team also has a wealth of experience in construction management.  The firm has successfully designed and completed projects for a wide range of clients, including New Hanover County Water & Sewer, the City of Wilmington, Cape Fear Public Utility Authority, the North Carolina State Ports Authority, the North Carolina Division of Parks and Recreation, the North Carolina Division of Marine Fisheries, the world’s largest manufacturer of fiber optics, the world’s largest turkey processing plant, a large local paper mill, the University of North Carolina-Wilmington, Autumn Hall development, Cape Fear Community College and a number of commercial and residential developers.
